Colossians 2:18-19 We continue with Paul’s warnings to the Colossian Christians concerning the spiritual dangers posed by fraudulent religious teachers. The warning we consider this morning is the third of four prohibitions, going back to vs. 8 Let no one cheat you. Vs. 16 Let no one judge you. Vs. 18-19 Let no one defraud you. If there is one thing that we Americans react to in a visceral way, it is a perceived injustice. We as Christian Americans insist that all men be treated fairly, most of all ourselves! And it is this sense of fairness to which Paul appeals in our text this morning. You will see what I mean as we journey through the text.
